Terms and Conditions
1. INTRODUCTION
1.1 – These Terms and Conditions regulate the sale, including registration, of LE TRAP products, through the website www.le-trap.pt
1.2 – For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:
a) – “LE TRAP” – The products sold on this website;
b) – “User” – Any individual, non-trader, who places an order through the website www.le-trap.pt;
1.3 – The use of the www.le-trap.pt website and the purchase of LE TRAP products presupposes the user’s knowledge, understanding and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. REGISTRATION ON THE WEBSITE
2.1 – To place an order, the User may register in advance, by filling in the fields on the form on the website www.le-trap.pt. It is also possible to place your order without prior registration.
2.2 – From the moment he accesses his personal account, the User is subject to these Terms and Conditions.
3. LE TRAP PRODUCTS
3.1 – Information on the characteristics of the products can be consulted at www.le-trap.pt and in the information text accompanying each product;
3.2 – LE TRAP reserves the right to modify, at any time, the information, prices, product offerings, promotions and commercial conditions, presented on the website www.le-trap.pt
4. ORDERING ON THE WEBSITE
4.1 – To order at www.le-trap.pt it is necessary that the User has an e-mail account in order to receive the confirmation e-mails and follow-up of the delivery process;
4.1.1 – The User may proceed with the online purchase of products, for which it is necessary that:
a) Find the product (s) you want to purchase;
b) Add the selected product(s) to the "Shopping Cart";
c) Register the User’s personal data, which will be integrated in the LE TRAP database under the terms provided for in the Privacy Policy, which include the “Name”, the “Delivery Address”, the “Billing Address”, the “Payment Method” and “Telephone Number”;
d) Review your order and confirm the order;
4.2 – The User will receive an order confirmation email with details regarding the payment method he has selected.
4.3 – Your order will be delivered by the logistics operator (UPS, WePickup or Fema) to the delivery address indicated in the purchase process and with the respective detailed invoice.
4.4 – By sending the order form, the User accepts the Purchase Terms and Conditions described at www.le-trap.pt, as well as the Privacy Policy.
4.5 – LE TRAP reserves the right not to accept and cancel orders already confirmed in the following situations:
a) The product is not available;
b) Payment is not made using any of the payment options available on the website;
c) Payment is not confirmed;
d) The billing information is not correct or verifiable;
e) There is an error in the price quote;
f) It is not possible to deliver to the address provided by the User.
5. PRICES
5.1 – The prices of products shown on the website www.le-trap.pt include Value Added (VAT). The total VAT to be paid by the User will be indicated on the invoice to be sent to the User.
5.2 – Prices are all quoted in euros (€).
5.3 – The prices of products presented on the website are subject to change. LE TRAP reserves the right to change prices without prior notice. The prices displayed at the time of purchase are the prices applied to that purchase.
5.4 – If there is an error in the price of the requested products, LE TRAP or the User may, until the order is dispatched, cancel the order.
5.5 – The total price specified in the checkout includes taxes from the country of origin (Portugal) and shipping costs.
5.6 – The User must pay only the amount specified in the order confirmation.
5.7 - The VAT amount will be excluded from all purchases whose delivery address is outside the European Union.
6. PAYMENT METHODS
6.1 – The User will be able to pay for his/her purchases through the payment management entity Paypal, Stripe or Eu Pago.
6.2 – LE TRAP does not accept any payment method other than those mentioned in the previous point. The User must not attempt to pay by any means other than those specified in the payment methods specified. If you do, we cannot be held responsible for loss of payment or any other damages that may result.
7. SHIPPING COSTS
7.1 – Shipments to Portugal (islands not included) and Spain (islands not included) are free from purchases worth €157.
7.2 – Shipments to the European Union and the rest of the world are paid (the options appear in the checkout).
8. DELIVERY
8.1 – LE TRAP sends the product (s) ordered by the User, from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, with the exception of holidays, and on the days and times used by the logistics company , to the delivery address specified by the User.
8.2 – Delivery times in Portugal and Spain vary from 1 to 3 working days, in the European Union they vary between 5 to 8 working days and in the case of shipments to the Rest of the World, they vary between 7 to 12 working days. LE TRAP's ability to respond within these deadlines varies depending on stock availability (if the product is made to order, we'll send you an email notifying you), as well as during periods of promotions, sales and Christmas.
8.3 – In case the carrier is not available to deliver the products on the indicated date, the User will be contacted in order to indicate another delivery date.
8.4 – At the time of delivery, the User must inspect the packaging in order to check for possible damage. If the user finds that the products are damaged, he must not accept delivery of the order, which will be returned. The User must report the situation, if possible documented with photographs, through the email info@le-trap.pt and if he agrees, LE TRAP will proceed to resend the order, without any costs to the User. If the User wishes to cancel the order, a promotional voucher will be provided, with the amount spent on the previous order, in order to settle the same or the refund.
8.5 – If you do not receive your order within a maximum period of 15 (fifteen) working days from the date of payment of the order, please send an email to info@le-trap.pt informing us of what happened. After this period, LE TRAP cannot be held responsible for the loss of the order.
8.6 – Delivery is considered to have been made with the signature on the delivery receipt at the agreed address.
9. RETURNS
9.1 – LE TRAP accepts returns if:
a) the product(s) does not match the one pictured;
b) The product(s) has a defect(s).
c) The customer regretted the purchase, requested the return and sent the product within a maximum of 7 working days after receipt.
9.2 – If the product ordered is defective or otherwise non-compliant, the User may choose to:
a) return the product;
b) exchange for another (if there is a difference in values, this amount will have to be paid).
9.3 – As soon as the User discovers a defect or other non-compliance of the product, he must inform us via the e-mail info@le-trap.pt sending supporting photographs.
9.4 – Once we have received your email, we will contact you to resolve the issue by consensus.
10. EXCHANGES
10.1 – The User may request an exchange within 30 (thirty) calendar days after receiving the order, that is, the exchange must arrive at our address within a maximum period of 30 days after receiving the order and provided that:
a) the product(s) have not been used;
b) the product(s) keep its original characteristics and internal labels intact;
c) The product(s) is complete. All material that accompanies the orders has to be returned, respectively, box and wrapping paper.
10.2 – The order exchange costs are borne by the customer.
10.3 – If items for exchange show signs of use, LE TRAP is entitled not to accept the exchange.
10.4 – LE TRAP exchanges products for different models than the original order, but LE TRAP is not responsible for the shipping costs on return, the shipping costs of the new product and the difference in value that may exist between the returned product and the one chosen as exchange.
11. QUALITY
LE TRAP does not sell second-hand products, which are defective or of inferior quality to the standards in the market. The main characteristics of each product shown on www.le-trap.pt can be found on each product page.
12. COMPLAINTS
In view of the objective of continuous improvement of the services provided, LE TRAP will seek to address and resolve complaints submitted by the User within 5 (five) business days, via email info@le-trap.pt.
13. EXCLUSION AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
LE TRAP does not guarantee the uninterrupted operation of the website www.le-trap.pt, or any of its functionalities, which may be suspended for maintenance, repair or updates.
LE TRAP will also not assume any responsibility for any damages, arising, directly or indirectly, from situations of force majeure that prevent LE TRAP, in any way, from fulfilling its obligations, namely, strikes, failures in the electrical network, in telecommunications services or in any other services, fires, floods, inability to obtain products, materials or services, breakdowns, delays from suppliers or transporters and changes in legislation or administrative regulations or pandemics.
LE TRAP is not responsible for any abuse of the User’s access data to the website by third parties, as they are personal and non-transferable.
14. MODIFICATION OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
LE TRAP reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time, considering the changes made and the Users notified by publishing the modified Terms and Conditions on the website www.le-trap.pt.
15. TREATMENT OF PERSONAL DATA
We ask that you read our Privacy Policy so that you can learn about the rules and procedures adopted by LE TRAP with regard to the treatment of the data collected when you browse the website www.le-trap.pt and when you use the features offered by it, as well as well as the applicable security and confidentiality measures.
16. PROOF AND ARCHIVE
The computer records, kept by LE TRAP in safe conditions, are considered as proof of the communications, orders and payments made between LE TRAP and the User.
17. APPLICABLE LAW
These Terms and Conditions and all emerging disputes that are related to them, including their validity, use of the website or any purchase on it must be governed by Portuguese law.

19.1 – The offers on the website are valid only for the moment they are displayed on the website, unless information to the contrary is communicated on the website.
